| David is a graduate student in geography at the University of Calgary. He is conducting a GIS study of the habitat use by gray whales in British Columbia, developing hypotheses using oceanographic data and gray whale sightings from the waters off Ahousat, near Tofino on the southern west coast of Vancouver Island, and testing them against data from the Cape Caution area. His work is part of a new three-way collaboration between CERF, the University of Victoria's WhaleLab, and the University of Calgary. | ||
